The amount of trucks entering the Beggs ranch early evening on 10-27-08 and into the late evening was unbelievable. There were as many as 15 trucks stacked up at one point at the entrance. Its still just absolutely amazes me that the Beggs family could be so selfish, idiotic and show such a lack of class to keep taking a dump on their neighbors in the name of profits.

Tuesday October 28th, I worked from home, there was an average of one truck every eight minuets passing behind my house. The wind was blowing from the south so needless to say it is a huge health problem from the dust. At 5:45 pm Pumpco Co. brought out three van loads of workers that stared at me as they passed like I was a caged animal, hmm maybe I am, cant sell and leave, just stuck here to be abused 24-7 by greedy people like the Beggs family and EnCana Oil and Gas.

On the rig road we are under constant surveillance no only from three cameras but from a “guard” hired by Encana to watch all of us. Where were they for the rash of crime we have experienced lately? He just helps to stir up more hazardous dust for us to consume and harass our neighborhood by looking in windows and invading what is left of our privacy in our yards.

Look what is being transported through our "industrial zone" formally known as neighborhood.
From Weatherford Democrat 3 Nov
"salt water tanker truck crashed Sept. 26 on FM 1187. The tanker’s contents spilled near an elementary school, requiring a hazardous material crew to clean up the spill.

A Texas Department of Public Safety report indicates the spill happened when the tanker overturned and saltwater spilled onto the ground. A few citizens were wary of the findings since the hazmat crew was hired by the trucking company.

Nye said the ground surrounding the spill was inspected at the accident scene.

She confirmed the radioactivity level was within acceptable limits."

Is this acceptable to you!!!!

I really do not understand how we got here. How do you go from a rural country neighborhood, where you feel safe for your children to play and be outdoors freely, and now we have a truck traffic and environmental hazards, that are now preventing this freedom? How can this be controlled by one families decision, when it affects so many families? I know it is probably the greed of money, but how can this be fixed? Why can't the County Officials stop all of this, until agreements have been made with all affected parties? The safety, health, and values on ones family and property, should not be compromised for the greed of another family.

Parker County officials have found 10 acres of land to trade with the Beggs family for the 3 acres on 3325 currently being used to store road base ect. All land trading is contingent on Beggs moving the road out of our neighborhood and entering from that state hwy. location. EnCana representatives have informed us that they, along with all but one county official are ready to make this happen. It seems that Precinct 4 Commissioner Jim Webster again will be the reason we continue to live in this industrial zone with all its health hazards and truck traffic dangers. The roomer is that Jim Webster will run again next year for county commissioner. A person with his self centered mind set that thrives on being the center of all attention and controversy is not looking out for good of the people in prescient 4. It is imperative that we as tax paying voters watch how he handles the Chisholm Hts situation along with any other prescient 4 disasters prior to elections. We as voters can make a difference by supporting someone that has the good of the people in mind, someone that is honest, has enough backbone to stand up to oil and gas companies or any other problems that may arise in 09. Being the center of attention, finger pointing, and out right lying is not working. Your prescient is watching you Jim Webster.

Congratulations Chisholm Heights, we have survived approximately 109500 commercial 18 wheel trucks (100 trucks per day x 365 days a year x 3 years) through our residential neighborhood and no traffic fatalities to this point! There have many near misses with speeding water trucks, especially during morning and afternoon traffic, as school busses and home owners try to negotiate the neighborhood streets. Our roads show all the scars from this traffic; as they were never expected to take this kind of abuse. All efforts to control the speeding truck traffic have failed, (humps, bumps ect.) as nothing can survive this kind of abuse. I pray for the health of families that have been forced to live in this hazardous environment. The long term health effects from diesel, dust, NORM (natural occurring radio active material) has yet to be determined. Gas well leaks and truck spills are a common problem in our neighborhood. The good news is there is a group of us that will fight this to our dying day. This incredible and unnecessary injustice will be exposed so that others will see what greedy, calloused, uncaring land owners have done to our neighborhood and the families who live in it. Hang in there Chisholm Heights there will be justice!

I do not live in Chisholm Hts., but I am appalled to hear that this inexcusable situation has been allowed to continue. These residents have their health compromised and there is no reason to block correction of such a health hazard.

I am a public health nurse and I know how dangerous this is.
